Dr. V.S. Chauhan

Widely known and respected, he was the first Orthopaedic surgeon to settle in Noida in 1980s, operating complex cases with minimum of facilities, as was Noida back then. Since then, he has played an important role in shaping the social and medical landscape in Noida. Realizing that a growing Noida needs advanced medical infrastructure, he set up Prakash Hospital, Noida in 2001. It has grown into a modern, well equipped NABH accredited super-speciality centre, offering the best of medical services under one roof.

His vision and far-sightedness led him to establish the first paramedical college in Gautam Budh Nagar district, imparting top notch education in nursing, physiotherapy, among others, and one of the first Ayurvedic college in Delhi NCR, highlighting his focus on a holistic approach to healthy living. Active socially and politically, he continues to be a guiding light and a source of inspiration for many, constantly reminding us to use modern technology for the service of mankind, at a cost within the reach of a common man.
